Tournament Day

Tournament Day 6th September 2009
All players report at 11.15am.
Group Draw will be conducted at 11.30am.

Any players who report after 12pm will be strictly penalized.
They will lose 1 Rack for every 5 minutes late.
(If they report at 12.11pm, they will start their 1st match with the score of 0:3)

Tournament Format

4 Groups of 4 or 5 players each
Round Robin Format

Each player will play 3 or 4 matches against other players in the same group.
All matches are Race to 4 with Alternate Break.
Losing players pay for the table for that match.

Division 1 & 2 players: Race to 4
Division 3 & 4 players: Race to 3

2 points will be given to the winning player.
No point will be given to the losing player
Losing players pay for the table for that match.

Qualifying for the Quarter-Final Knock-Out Stage

Top 2 players of each group will go through to the Quarter-Final Knock-Out Stage

The draw for the Quarter-Final Knock-Out Stage

4 Group Winners will be paired with Runner-up of the other group.

Notes for Round Robin Format

(1) If there is a draw in the Points, Head-To-Head between the 2 players in concern will be the next factor decide the qualifying player.

(2) If the Head-To-Head between the 3 to 4 players in concern still the same, the Difference of Racks Won – Racks Conceded will be the next factor.

(3) If the Racks Difference is still drawn, the Most Racks Won will be the next factor.

Knock-Out Stage

All Knock-Out Stage matches are Race to 4 with Alternate Break.
Losing players pay for the table for that match.

Division 1 & 2 players: Race to 4
Division 3 & 4 players: Race to 3

Prize Money

$324 of the total registration fee will be the prize money

Champion = $164 & Trophy
1st Runner-up = $85 & Trophy
2nd Runner-up = $50 & Trophy
3rd Runner-up = $25

Registration for GF Handicapped 8-Ball tournament 06/09/09

Registration has started , registered players just need to sms me "Name, NRIC/Passport No".

All new interested players who I do not have any of his/her skill level background need to start from Division 2.

I will not reply the sms. I will just update your NRIC/Passport No in PoolKhakis.com(Do check it yourself in the forum).

When all 32 slots are taken up, I will start a waiting list.

Players just need to pay the fees on the tournament Day.
However, if the registered players do not turn up for the tournament, he/she still need to pay up the fees by banking transfer on the tournament day.
Players who refuse to pay the fees will be strictly "Banned" from all future tournament.
