• 24 players (Age under 23 who born on or after 13th June 1986)
• Ladies will be given 2 Racks handicap
• Entry fees : $15 + $2 Organizer’s Fee

All players need to produce NRIC/ Passport to verify Date of Birth upon registration on tournament date.

Tournament Day

Tournament Day 14th June 2009
All players report at 10.15am.
Group Draw will be conducted at 10.30am.

Any players who report after 11am will be strictly penalized.
They will lose 1 Rack for every 5 minutes late.
(If they report at 11.18am, they will start their 1st match with score of 0:4)

Tournament Format

6 Groups of 4 players each
Round Robin Format

Each player will play 3 matches against other players in the same group.
All matches are Race to 7 with Alternate Break.
Losing players pay for the table for that match.

Qualifying for the Pre Quarter-Final Knock-Out Stage
Top 2 players of each group and 4 Best 3rd placing players will go through to the Pre Quarter-Final Knock-Out Stage

The draw for the Pre Quarter-Final Knock-Out Stage

4 Groups with 3 qualifiers

4 Group Winners will be paired with the 3rd placing players of the other group.
4 Group Runner-up will be paired.

2 Groups with 2 qualifiers

Group Winners will be paired with Runner-up of the other group.

Notes for Round Robin Format

(1) If there is a draw in the Points, Head-To-Head between the 2 players in concern will be the next factor decide the qualifying player.

(2) If the Head-To-Head between the 3 to 4 players in concern still the same, the Difference of Racks Won – Racks Conceded will be the next factor.

(3) If the Racks Difference is still drawn, the Most Racks Won will be the next factor.

(4) If the Most Racks Won is still drawn, the Least Racks Conceded will be the next factor.

Knock-Out Stage

All Knock-Out Stage matches are Race to 7 with Alternate Break.
Losing players pay for the table for that match.

Prize Money

$360 of the total registration fee will be the prize money.

2nd Runner-up: $60.00 + trophy
1st Runner-up: $100.00 + trophy
Champion: $200.00 + trophy

** In the event if there are less than 32 players registered for the tournament, the Prize Money will be reduced accordingly.
