Number of participants : 32-64, open to all full-time students (as of Jan 2008)

The following data is based on 64 players participation

Choice of Session : Players have a choice of whether to play in the morning or afternoon session for the double elimination round on December 13.

Morning session players report at 1115.
Afternoon session players report at 1415.

These will be available on a first come first serve basis. Indicate your preference when you register and we will try to allocate you to your desired session.

Game : 9 Ball, race to 7 (Group stage), 7 (Rd of 32 & 16), 9 (Qtr & Semis), 11 (Finals & 3rd
placing play-off)
Format : Double elimination group stage, 2 groups of 32 players
Top 16 from each group qualify to single elimination knockout stage
Loser punch
Alternate breaks

Walkover : Absentee considered to have conceded all racks.
Report time : 15 mins before scheduled match.
Late : Loss of 1 rack for every 10 minutes late. 30 minutes late equates walkover.
Handicap : Ladies handicapped to 8 ball. Combination on 8 ball does not win game. Golden break only counts for 9 ball.

24 players will progress to the knockout round, which will be played in a last 32 format. 4 byes will be given in the last 16 round.



Draw will be conducted at WCRC on Saturday, December 20 at 11:00 am. All players are to report latest by 11:15 am. First matches to commence at 11:30 am sharp.

Based on a 38 player sign-up, the prize money has been revised to the following:
